A Little About Us

Country Haven Farm is a family owned, family run farm located in Cardington Ohio.

 

Christopher & Randee Summers started out at a much smaller location in Delaware Ohio in 2006 before purchasing the larger farm located in Cardington Ohio in 2013.

Randee Summers (formerly Cooke) grew up in a very rural Ohio town where her family raised horses, chickens, and a dairy goat herd that at one point consisted of 43 head. 

Chris Summers grew up in town but over the years has become very skilled and knowledgeable around the farm.

In their free time (when they find some) Chris & Randee enjoy tractor rides with their toddler, making Ice cream & cheese, riding horses, spending time with their animals, riding four wheelers, primitive camping, and spending time with the family.

 

With the help of their families they raise miniature cattle, rare and ultra-rare poultry (including DeathLayers & Ayam Cemani), produce homemade skincare products, and coop building (by Randee's brother Shawn) on their farm.

 

All of the animals at the farm are treated with the best possible care and each one is considered a member of the family… From the smallest barn cat, to the largest horse. Everyone is important.

 

All of the adult poultry have access to outdoor pens with grass and safe nesting areas. Country Haven Farm is also A NPIP - National Poultry Improvement Program - participant. NPIP certified and AI Clean tested flock.

 

Great pride is taken in everything done on the farm, and it shows in the quality of the products and animals we produce.
